Team Building – Notice of change in office hours
At 1pm on Friday July 22nd, the Rapidata office will be closed while our staff take part in a team building exercise.
Please note that all staff will be taking part in this event and therefore the Sales, Support, Data Administration and Client Services teams will not be available.
If you have any urgent payments or support issues, please ensure you call us by midday on the 22nd to ensure that we are looking into your request.
The Rapidata staff take a half day once a year for team building and we appreciate your co-operation during this time.

Getting Your Data Right: Import file checklist
Our Data Administration team recently wrote up a list of common errors that are found in client’s Direct Debit files and we thought it would be helpful to share the resulting checklist.
Although some of these items may seem like common sense, they can slow down the import of your Direct Debit file and result in late collections. Before you send us a file or upload it to our FTP server cross check your files with the checklist below:

Rapidata team help marshal the St Catherine’s Midnight Walk
On Saturday night Emma and Louise from Rapidata’s Data Admin Team forwent sleep and headed over to Horsham, West Sussex to marshal the St Catherine’s Hospice Midnight walk. 1000+ women of all ages walked a half marathon through the night around Horsham to raise money for this wonderful cause. Emma & Louise were 2 of 100 marshals on the night making sure all walkers were safe, having fun and most importantly walking in the right direction!

The first ever Rapidata Advice Clinic will run at the London Chamber of Commerce on the 24th May.
It’s completely free and exclusively for our clients.
Our experts, Hilary and Alex, will be on hand for an informal one-to-one meeting over coffee where you can ask those niggling questions, review your current service implementation, and discuss simple but potentially valuable tweaks for your processes and strategies.

Marching for Marsden
On Sunday morning 2,000 supporters walked from the Royal Marsden in Chelsea to the Royal Marsden in Sutton to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Four of those walkers are part of the Rapidata team. Nicola Saunders, Rapidata’s Finance Manager walked with her husband Ian and their daughters Becky and Katie (both age 8). The whole family have been in training for the last few months and they completed the 14 mile walk in only 6.5 hours (with stops for snacks and the playground!).

Lotteries Council Annual Conference 2011
Rapidata will be exhibiting again at the Lotteries Council Annual Conference taken place in Redditch on 6th-7th April 2011.
John Rogers, Business Development Manager will be attending and on hand to answer any questions you have on setting up direct debit for lottery, attracting more lottery players online, setting up Paperless Direct Debit and contingency of payments.
