Give with Confidence!

This week the Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB) announced a campaign to encourage the public to give with confidence this Christmas. The goal of the ‘Give with Confidence’ campaign is to boost flagging donation levels this Christmas.

Minister of the Third Sector, Angela Smith, is supporting the campaign and MPs around the country have been asked to show their support by spreading the message to their constituents.

“Charities provide such vital services across the country and we need to do what we can to susure that these organisations are supported through difficult times. Christmas is traditionally a time for giving to charitable causes and I hope that those who can will act not to support the charities close to their hearts”.

But the role of the campaign is not just to encourage the public to give this Christmas. It’s also a good reminder of the high professional standards that fundraisers follow.

Charities can take an active part in the campaign by ensuring that they display the FRSB logo on all their donation pages.  If your organisation is using eDirectDebit or the Artez Solution, we can add the FRSB logo to your donation and fundraising pages.

Charities can also provide simple to understand explanations about security features on their website so that reluctant donors feel more confident about giving online.

If you would like more information about security features or if you would like to add an FRSB logo to your donation pages, please contact Alex on 01293 524066 or email artezsupport@rapidata.co.uk
