Rapidata provides secure outsourced direct debit management, processing and reporting services for SMEs, so you can streamline collection processes, reduce costs, and engage with your customers.

If you’re not already processing direct debits, Rapidata has supported many small businesses and business start ups hoping to accept payment by direct debit. We’ll first advise you if your business is suited to receive payment by direct debit. If you are, we’ll give you all the information you need to approach your bank for a Service User Number (SUN). Having your own SUN means collections are made under your own organisation’s name and payments go directly into your nominated bank account.

Please note, Rapidata does not currently offer a Facilities Managed Direct Debit Service to commercial organisations.

Encouraging your customers to pay by direct debit means you spend less time reconciling and banking cheques or chasing late payments, and you’ll know exactly when payments are expected which makes cash flow forecasting much easier to manage.

We’ll handle paper based direct debit instructions, and also provide you with an option to accept paper-less direct debit instructions via your own website if you wish. Direct debits can be set up as one-off or regular weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual payments, and can be for fixed or variable amounts. Comprehensive reporting lets you know the status of all direct debits claimed or cancelled within each collection period. Finally, our trigger service is a great way to keep in touch with your customers, sending them essential information, news, offers, or product updates. In fact anything you need to communicate can be set to trigger when specific criteria are met.
