eDirectDebit – Scheduled Hosting Maintenance Notification 11 October 2009
As part of Rapidata’s commitment to continually improve its secure hosting service, we will be conducting scheduled maintenance on Sunday 11 October 2009 with our hosting partner Netcel.
Here is a summary of the works:
Affected systems: eDirectDebit’s primary firewall
Maintenance window: From 21:00 on Sunday 11 October 2009 to 01:00 on Monday 12 October 2009
Outage duration: Up to 4 hours
Reason: Installation of a new firewall and load balancing solution.
The new firewalls offer “floating virtual interfaces”, a feature that improves fault tolerance and enables our secondary firewall to be online within milliseconds should the primary firewall fail.
As always, we will do our best to carry out maintenance to minimise downtime to eDirectDebit and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding for the inconvenience to your service.
