Heartbleed Internet vulnerability – your data is safe!
You may have seen in the news yesterday a story about a bug in software used by millions of web servers, which if visited, means users may have been exposed to spying and eavesdropping. Without getting too technical, the service is called OpenSSL and is supposed to protect sensitive data that travels back and forth.
Despite it being unclear how widespread the bug has become, Rapidata has investigated its systems as part of our commitment to ensuring our client data is safe. We are pleased to report that no known security implications have been found. However, we will continue to review and monitor the developments on this issue so that our clients can rest assured.
Your data security is our main priority. Any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Support Team on 01293 601111.
