Rapidata Services, today launched the Friendship Powered Fundraising™ App for Facebook to the UK market.  It is the first ever event fundraising app that runs entirely within Facebook, the online community that over 1 billion friends around the world call home.

The Friendship Powered Fundraising (FPF) App leverages the power of friends to help supporters fundraise within Facebook for their sponsored event campaigns – walks, runs, cycle rides, challenge events, etc.  Once registered for an event supporters can share information about fundraising targets, accept donation payments, track progress and post updates and pictures about the events on the familiar timeline; all with just a few clicks and without ever having to leave Facebook.

The FPF App has been created by Rapidata’s technology partner Artez Interactive, a Canadian-based global leader in multi-platform online fundraising solutions.
